Maldives

Overwater villas and nothing but blue

Best time to go
November to April
Suggested stay
5 to 7 nights
Pairs well with
Dubai or Sri Lanka for a two-stop trip

The honeymoon most couples picture first. Private villas over the lagoon, house reefs a few steps from your deck, and dinners with your toes in the sand.

Every resort in the Maldives sits on its own island, so choosing the right one matters more than anywhere else. We know which resorts suit couples who want total seclusion, which have the best house reefs, and which offer the most for food lovers or divers. We’ll match you with the island that feels like it was made for you.

Moments we'd plan for you

  • Overwater or beach villa with a private pool
  • Snorkelling the house reef with turtles and reef sharks
  • Sunset dolphin cruise on a traditional dhoni
  • Sandbank picnic, just the two of you
  • Couples' spa ritual over the water
  • Private beach dinner under the stars

A sample itinerary

A starting point. We'll shape every day around your dates, budget and wishes.

  1. Day 1

    Seaplane arrival

Met at Malé and flown over the atolls to your resort, with a welcome drink waiting on your deck.

  2. Days 2–3

    Reef and lagoon

Snorkel the house reef, paddle-board at sunrise and let the afternoons disappear by the pool.

  3. Day 4

    A day for two

Sandbank picnic in the morning, couples' spa in the afternoon, dinner on the beach at night.

  4. Days 5–6

    Slow days

Sunset dolphin cruise, a cooking class or simply nothing at all. The pace is yours.

  5. Day 7

    Fly home

A late check-out and a last swim before your seaplane back to Malé.
